RCIA

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults - a process for welcoming adults into the Catholic Church. RCIA prepares adults for the sacraments of Baptism, Eucharist, and Confirmation by providing a personal journey that leads to a transformation of mind and spirit. It is a personal journey in which participants and RCIA team members re-examine and deepen their relationship with God.

Those who are new to the Catholic Church or those who are Catholic but have not received all of the Sacraments are welcome. People are drawn to explore the Catholic faith for many different reasons and St. Anne Parish welcomes all who wish to participate.

At the Easter Vigil (Holy Saturday), all newly elected members of the community who have been journeying through the RCIA process are welcomed formally into the Church through receiving the Sacraments of Initiation – Baptism, Eucharist and Confirmation.
